ST. LOUIS—February 8, 2016— Clayton-based Moneta Group, a provider of financial advice to successful families and businesses, has been named to the St. Louis Business Journal’s “Best Places to Work” list in the large-sized company category, which includes companies with 250-999 employees.
Nearly 150 St. Louis companies participated in the St. Louis Business Journal Best Places to Work Awards, and 46 companies were named as finalists. To participate, employees completed surveys administered by Quantum Workplace, which used its own algorithm to measure communication, management structure, benefits, teamwork and several other factors at each local firm.
The companies were grouped by size and ranked by Quantum to determine the most employee-friendly workplaces in St. Louis. There were nine other winners in Moneta’s size category, including Berkshire Hathaway, Clayco, McCarthy Holdings, and Spectrum Brands, to name a few.
This is the second consecutive year that Moneta Group has been listed on the Best Places to Work List.
Tom O’Meara, Moneta Group’s Managing Partner and Chairman of the Board, says that the award is extremely meaningful for Moneta Group because it represents the passion that employees have for their work and for each other.
“Our primary focus has always been to deliver exceptional ‘Raving Fan’ service,” he says. “Knowing that Moneta’s employees not only truly believe in the cause that they work for, but also enjoy what they do is invigorating.”
Moneta’s dedication to their employees has lead Moneta to multiple accolades over the last several years. In addition to being a finalist for the Business Journal’s Best Places to Work award, in 2014 and 2015 Moneta was named to the Post-Dispatch’s Top Workplaces lists, ranking 8th in the mid-sized company category both years.
Moneta also has received accolades for their exceptional client service. Most recently, Moneta was named to Small Business Monthly’s Best Customer Service list, which is compiled based on reader votes.
“At Moneta Group, we are truly focused on people in everything we do,” O’Meara says. “Our purpose is to go above and beyond—for our clients, and for each other.”
