Tony Dorn, MBA, CFP®

 

“Working with clients to navigate challenges and achieve their goals is what keeps me excited about coming to the office every day,” says Tony. “One thing that I have learned is that life is not perfect and being able to adapt and plan around financial and life challenges is an integral part of my role as a Family CFO.”

 

Prior to joining Moneta Group in 2002, Tony worked as an investment representative with Edward Jones, seeing things from the brokerage side of the industry.  While there, he learned that he could never truly serve his clients’ best interests within a broker/dealer framework that led him to seek an opportunity where acting in his clients’ best interests without limitation was possible. “Moneta Group provided me this opportunity to work with clients without any conflicts of interest.  My only goal for my clients is that they reach their goals in the most effective and efficient way.”

 

In addition to his work with Moneta Group, Tony spends part of his time acting as a financial counselor for United States military families in need as part of the Department of Defense’s initiative to provide financial education to our soldiers.

 

In his leisure time, Tony enjoys skiing, golfing and Mizzou athletics.  He and his wife, Brianne, reside in Lake St. Louis with their son, Cameron, and daughter, Claire.
