Matthew D. Ring, CPA, CFP®

Matt’s personal financial planning responsibilities focus on serving successful families through Family CFO services.  Specific areas of expertise include investment portfolio management, retirement analysis, tax and estate planning and risk management.

 

Matt also has a niche focus on working with corporate retirement plans.  His specific areas of expertise and responsibilities include providing retirement plan consulting in the areas of plan design, investment selection and monitoring, employee education programs, trustee reviews and competitor analysis.

 

Prior to joining Moneta Group and the O’Meara team in 2002, Matt spent seven years at Arthur Andersen, where he served as a senior tax & financial consultant to corporate executives, researching tax legal issues, preparing individual tax returns, designing investment portfolios, researching investment managers and responding to client inquiries.

 

He also worked in the HR and Benefits arena at Arthur Andersen where he served as the director/manager of experienced hire recruiting.  Matt also spent time working in the Audit Division as a senior auditor and audit operations consultant.  

 

Matt and his wife, Susie, are proud parents of two sons, Colin and Owen.  Matt considers himself a “family man” and spends most of his free time these days coaching baseball and soccer games, attending school functions, playing kickball and changing diapers.  When time permits, he enjoys golfing, hiking, reading and traveling.
