As Director of Investment Research, Luke Ferraro serves all 34 Moneta principals and by extension their clients. His primary responsibility is investment oversight, which monitors where the firm is invested (asset classes) and what instruments are used to gain access to those classes. In addition he provides extensive research and ongoing due diligence for all external investment managers both current and prospective.
Luke joined Moneta Group in 2007, after working at Charles Schwab as a technical analyst and registered representative. At Schwab, Luke worked exclusively with high net worth clients developing trading strategies. He also spent several years as a trader for Schonfield Securities in Atlanta, GA, before coming to Moneta Group. "I understand how complex the needs of our clients can be and am proud the work I do contributes to their immediate or long-term financial goals," he says.
Luke holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Central Florida and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
Luke lives in the Central West End, and enjoys travel, golf, skiing, racquet ball and rooting for his beloved New York sports teams.
